Wall Cladding: Herringbone Prairie Pattern

Wall Cladding: Herringbone Prairie Pattern

Old growth fir beams are carefully salvaged from deconstructed buildings in Chicago, cut to size and assembled into various patterns for cladding. The old growth is partially planed so it’s semi-smooth and shows all of the character that it’s earned over the last century or so.  Different thicknesses of wood create variations in depth which adds to the character of the panels. Nail holes, saw marks and natural variations in color make every square foot unique.
