Icon Modern sources all of its sustainable urban hardwood within a 100-mile radius of Chicago, IL. The urban wood we work with comes from trees that are taken down due to disease, insects and construction, and would otherwise be designated for landfill.

Our steel shop is located in Gurnee, IL, just north of Chicago. Our standard base options can be powdercoated in any RAL color including black and finished in matte, semi-gloss or gloss. Bases can be also customized to conceal power/data wiring.
