The history behind our new space

As our next chapter unfolds in a new space, we were curious about the backstory of the building, particularly after we saw this fabulous painted wall. Feels a little like kismet that we landed in a building that used to specialize in metal fabrication.
▪️ The Kloster’s Steel Corporation called this space home starting in 1937. They fabricated steel for the tool and die industry, contributing to the war effort during WW2.
▪️ Their original source of materials was from mills in Sweden, but during and after the war they became involved with domestic steel tool mills, such as The Bethlehem Steel Company. (They liked to keep it local too!)
▪️ They added two new additions on in 1985 and 1995. Kloster's then was sold to a New Hampshire-based company in 2008.
